Home » HIV/AIDS Care & Prevention

Meeting Point Kampala is committed to fighting HIV/AIDS through prevention, treatment, and support services. Our program addresses the medical, social, and emotional challenges faced by people living with HIV/AIDS, while promoting community awareness and stigma reduction.
Decades of experience have taught us that healing is more than medicine. It’s about community, empowerment, and the courage to stand together against stigma.
Behind every number is a story — a mother spared the loss of her child, a young person learning their status early, a family finding strength in community. Here’s how our program changes lives:
Accessible HIV testing services with pre- and post-test counseling to encourage early detection and informed choices.
Provision of Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART), TB services, and ongoing medical support through our HIV/AIDS Clinic.
Helping mothers access lifesaving treatment to protect newborns and ensure healthier futures.
Community education and behavior-change programs to reduce stigma and prevent the spread of HIV.

HIV/AIDS remains a challenge in Uganda, particularly in vulnerable urban communities. Our work ensures that those affected are not isolated, but instead cared for with dignity and compassion. With consistent support, individuals and families regain hope and strength to live healthier lives.
